INTRODUCTION TO MJ
I am 57 years old and didn't start dealing with my sexual abuse until I was about 39 years old. I have been abused many times and each time I deal with one of them, it's like I'm right back there again.
I am an alcohol and drug counselor and I enjoy working with our clients through their sexual abuse. It's there that I get to share my story too. And the plus side of it is, I am dealing with it at the same time.
I am a First Nations woman. My partner of 25 years passed away a year ago from cancer. He was also a survivor. He was molested in a Catholic orphanage. Together we worked through his abuse.
