Speaking Through Art
There were times when I couldn't find words by verse or prose to express the intensity, the reality of my feelings. Although I had never drawn before and have not since, I did, during a few months during my healing find myself doing some simple pencil sketches.
Most of the sampling posted here are scanned from a larger work where the large beastly cats ended up representing both my own rage for the things that had happened to me and as a strong symbolism for the protecting of my inner wounded children.
