About Spiritual Scrapping
When my seventeen-year-old niece discovered scrap booking she introduced me to a wide variety of papers, adhesives and scrapping equipment that have recently flooded the market.
The first thing I did was to design a cover for the hard copy of my Book Of Shadows. With it's conception I realized that many of the pages could be done in this way so I began cutting images from magazines and printing clipart from the computer. Many poems, quotes and other relevant pieces could also be designed in my word processor then printed out.
I then found myself working up pages with one or two words or a phrase. Adding pictures, color and trims they captured a mood, one that I can return to again and again. Although I keep them in a scrapbook I sometimes take them out to place in temporary frames or on my altars to represent and enhance my magick or surroundings.
